School Library Web Pages

-Sidney High School Library Media Center: http://www.sidney.k12.oh.us/schools/fultzl/- I like the use of the calendars on this web site. Teachers could just visit the web site and look at the calendar to see when the library or computer lab is available for them to use instead of having to make a special trip to the library/media center to ask me. I also like how the annual report is posted and how they also specified what their goals for this year will be.

-Van Buren High School Library:
http://www.noacsc.org/hancock/vb/hslib/- I thought posting career and college prep links was a good idea for a high school library web site.

-Virginia Williamson Elementary Library Media Center:
http://www.bcswan.net/education/staff/staff.php?sectiondetailid=6429& Julie Sloup/Virginia Williamson Elementary School 2008-2009. I liked the use of a poll on this web site. This is a great way to get feed back from students and teachers. I also liked the scrapbook link. This is a good spot to post pictures of events that have taken place in the library.

-John Newberry Elementary School: http://nb.wsd.wednet.edu/lmc/lmc_index.html - I liked this web site because it is very organized and is easy to navigate through. I think it's important to have a lot of information on web sites but it also needs to be user friendly otherwise people will get frustrated easily. This site included resources for teachers as well as resources for students.
